The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common University Entrance Test (CUET – UG) for admissions to undergraduate courses in various central, state, private, & many other universities in India. More than 280 universities (including 45+ central universities, like DU, BHU, JNU, JMI, Allahabad University, University of Hyderabad, etc.) fall under the purview of CUET and will accept only CUET scores as the basis of UG admission.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an entrance exam for UG admissions to 280+ universities, including 45+ Central Universities (like DU, BHU, JMI, JNU, AMU, University of Allahabad, and University of Hyderabad). The exam will test a student's language aptitude, subject knowledge, and general mental ability.
In case of a tie between 2 or more students with the same CUET score choosing the same college and course, their class 12th Board marks (Best of 3, 4, and 5 subsequently) will be considered. Yet, in a tie, the age will be the final tiebreaker. The older student will get the seat.
The CUET scores will be used for UG admissions to undergraduate courses of 45+ Central Universities, including Delhi University, BHU, Jamia Millia Islamia, JNU, AMU, University of Allahabad, and University of Hyderabad.
